An idea of the establishment of the competitive Fashion Training Center on the basis of modules training which will provide sewing enterprises of the Khmelnytskyi Region with human resources and will contribute to clustering of the branch, determined by the smart specialization of the Region appeared on Spring of 2022.
Members of the Podillia Fashion Cluster, in particular, both local and relocated sewing companies, a few departments of Khmelnytskyi National University, and NGO “Agency for Sustainable Development “ASTAR”, have united around this goal.

Since March, 2022, fruitful work for preparation of the launching this structural unit of the Cluster. Although it was clear that it was quite difficult to pull off such a large-scale project on our own, the possibility of donor support remained.
The most interesting point is the unity of economy and science on the issue of the faster and more effective providing of the basic knowledge and practical skills.

Within the grant activities, USAID Program of “Competitive Economy of Ukraine” supports establishment of the Fashion Training Center in Khmelnytskyi for the modules training. 😉 advanced training course “Creative Studio” on the development, implementation and promotion of new sewing products for students of master’s programs;
😉 3 programs for clothing designers of “beginning”, “advanced” and “professional” levels for current employees of companies
However, grant activities include advertising campaign that consists of videos on sewing affair, and a series of events and interviews with people who have moved into the sewing business. It will contribute to changing the perception of the industry, highlighting the advantages of working professions, as well as social advertising about the prospects of the labor market for working professions in sewing factories.
